Lost’s Josh Holloway as Gambit?

Will Josh Holloway make Gambit look badder?

If Josh’s rough n’ rebel image is any clue, and his Sawyer character in Lost is an indication, then yeah, he’s perfect as Gambit. Gambit is the card-throwing, explosive X-Men whose able to control kinetic-energy.

I picked this rumor up from Moviehole - Gambit (and Josh) might appear in a future X-Men movie. Josh/Gambit was supposedly included in the previous “X-Men:The Last Stand” roster but the actor declined the because of previous TV commitments.

“Yep. He auditioned. He signed. He was ready for work”, says our source. “They may say that they just didn’t have a use for him in that movie, but the truth is, Lost wouldn’t let him go for the period of time it was going to take to film his part”.

Lost star Josh Holloway is being tipped to star in the next X-Men movie as fan favorite Gambit. Holloway, who plays Sawyer on the hit TV show, was set to star as Gambit in X-Men: The Last Stand but pulled out because of TV commitments.
