Jessalyn Gilsig of Nip/Tuck will join Heroes…
- From Kristin of E!Online
- Forget Sylar! I scored some exclusive, kick-ass casting scoop! Wheee! Sources close to Heroes tell me that Jessalyn Gilsig (Nip/Tuck, Boston Public) has been cast as a pivotal character directly connected to one of the Heroes we already know and love. If you put on your super-sleuthing thinking caps, I bet you’ll figure this one out all on your own. (And pssst…just in case your cap isn’t working, I’ll reveal Jessalyn’s character to you in the spoiler section. Shhh!)

Heroes-TV spills she’ll play Claire’s biological mom.
-
Spoiler-fix had it different -
-
A new female hero is joining the cast for a mini arc, and this person’s power is unlike anything we’ve seen on the show so far. All I’ll say is, she’d come in very handy on Survivor
-
Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who) may the newest-oldest hero to join the List -
Claude, an invisible man played by British actor Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who), appears Jan. 22. “He’s been living with his invisibility for many years and has come to grips with it, so he’ll give us a different view into this hero world,” Kring explains. “He’s big, imposing and charismatic, and will become a mentor to Peter — albeit a tough, reluctant and stern one. He’ll help Peter learn to use and control his powers.”
George Takei (of Star Trek fame) will be join Heroes as Hiro’s father -
“Hiro’s father is this big honcho who shows up in America with his bodyguard. He has this whole elaborate scheme to kidnap his son and take him back to Japan.”
Spoiler-fix named him “Kaito, a very strict and traditional Japanese businessman”.
